Program Room 2nd Floor

Spend the evening as part of the crew of The Raptor, an interstellar scout ship exploring uncharted regions of space, by joining us for a session of Lasers & Feelings!

This is a quick-play roleplaying game similar to Dungeons and Dragons. This program is for those who are interested in trying out this style of game for the first time, as well as for those who are more experienced with RPGs.

For grades 4-6. 

Register at the Youth Services desk or by calling 847-376-2839 beginning April 11.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
