The Des Plaines Youth Commission presents the 2022 Holiday Hoopla on

Saturday, December 10, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Drop in, no registration required.

Visit with Santa Claus and enjoy crafts, games, cookies, juice and holiday cheer!

The event will be held at the Des Plaines Public Library, Meeting Room C, 1501 Ellinwood, Des Plaines.

Admission is free. Children must arrive by 2:30 p.m. to visit with Santa.

Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the Self Help Closet and Pantry.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
