Come meet the new Des Plaines History Center staff members.
Executive Director Dennis Murray joined our organization in October 2025. He brings to the position an impressive record of leadership in Chicago's museum and nonprofit community. Eli Levsky, a recent international studies and political science graduate of Miami University and a Boy Scout volunteer on the National (Order of the Arrow) History Subcommittee, recently joined us as the Administrative and Outreach Specialist. Olivia Cimino is the new Associate Curator for Education and Exhibits; Olivia is an artist, writer, and avid history lover who holds a Masters degree in museum studies from UIC.
Drop by Thursday night to meet the new staff, enjoy refreshments, and see the exhibit, Archaeology of Illinois: The Deep Roots of the Prairie State.
