Crafting together isn’t just about the process—it’s also about creating lasting memories and keepsakes.  This holiday season, come with a friend, share, and compare the arts and crafts you enjoyed in the past months while making a Crystal Shimmering Diamond Tree (one for each of you).

While registering. add your partner’s name along with yours. Register only for one session Friday, December 5 at 2 p.m. or Saturday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. by calling the Reference Desk at
847-376-2841 on or after 11/20.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
