If you're waiting for a sign to get started on that writing piece - or need motivation to continue onwards - this is it! Meet fellow writers, network, and meet your deadlines; bring your laptop and bring your inspiration! This meetup is for writing accountability only and is not a critique or feedback group.

This group will meet the first Thursday of every month on the 3rd Floor in a Study Room. Please check with the 3rd floor information desk when checking in!

Registration is preferred but not required.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
